The International Team Excellence Awards (ITEA) are an international quality competition held every year by the American Society For Quality.
The preliminary round is prerecorded and adjudicated in the fall. Successful teams take the feedback they receive at the preliminary round to improve their presentations and present them live at ASQ’s annual World Conference on Quality and Improvement in the spring.
This presentation will provide an overview of the ITEA program, its benefits, and why to get involved. It will explore the ways to be part of the program, either as a quality improvement team or as a judge.
Amanda Foster is employed by D&R Technical Solutions, Inc. of Endicott, New York. She is a quality professional and ASQ member since 2011. Amanda has have served as an ITEA judge since 2014. She and her husband, Mel, celebrated 20 years of marriage this year and we have 5 children.
